One of the best descriptions of the game would be:
A fully emerrsive futuristic combat simulator that puts you in control of a huge tank-like vehicle known as a Battlemech with enough firepower to level a small city. You will manage the weapons heat, weapons trigger configurations, weapons jams, maneuvering, jump jets on some mechs, radar modes, targeting computer, use 5 MFD displays and a radar display in addition to your first person HUD to communicate, engage, navigate, etc. There are many maps, several game types and currently a nice selection of Battlemechs, both Clan and Inner Sphere to choose from in 4 weight classes, Light, Medium, Heavy and Assault.
Weapons range from Machine guns to lasers to Gauss Cannons to Auto Cannons and PPCs as well as long range and short range missles. Gametypes are simple free for all types, king of the hill, capture the flag and siege assault as examples.
