Lan Party Info

THE Next NJLP Party...

Current Stage: Pre-party Setup!

Who : This party is open to the PUBLIC!

            You must be at least 15 years old to be unaccompanied by an adult.  (And I need to speak to your parent or guardian first!)

Where : Kinnelon  Fire Hall in Kinnelon (BRAND NEW HALL! )

                Directions: RT 287 to RT 23 North. Take Kinnelon ROAD Exit toward Kinnelon

               9 tenths of a mile (That's 0.9 miles AFTER you cross RT 23) take a LEFT turn at the 3rd traffic light on to RICKER RD.

               Take the first Right on to a street (that I will not tell you the name of because it will confuse you) and go

               a quarter of a mile and make a left into the driveway of the fire hall.

When : December 4-6 (we will open early on Friday at noon for setup!)

How much? : The low low price of $???? per person. You can pay at the door, or PayPal me, but either way, please let me know you are planning to attend.  Please try to prepay as soon as possible.

How can I sign up??? :  Send an e-mail to murdock@njlanparty.com to let me know you are prepaying.

                                           Then PAYPAL the admission fee to murdock@njlanparty.com

                                            Once I receive your payment, I will mark you as paid on the Lan Party Page.

Details :

This is a Bring Your Own Computer event. If you need to rent a monitor, please let me know in advance. I have 5 Monitors, available. You can rent a monitor for the day for $5.  I will have spare keyboards and mice, and power cables for anyone who forgets, but please try to remember.

Here is the list of games that people have shown an interest in playing. Obviously, we will not be playing all of them.

There will be servers running at all times! If there is something you really want to play, post a message on the Lan Party Manager or on the message board on NJLanParty.com.

There will NOT be a schedule for this party. In the past we haven't been able to keep to it so why bother.

After we get settled, the mayhem begins! Games will be decided by whomever is there at the time. There are no limits as to what we will play or try! Well, ok...The only limit will be LICENSED USERS ONLY!

Rules :

• There will be no trading of warez, MP3’s or Movies! We are getting together to play, not clog the LAN with stuff flying back and forth.
• You must have licensed copies of the games you will be playing. We will not be responsible for getting our servers to work with your cracked copy.
• Adults only. No one under 15 years old with out being accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• Headphones only: I hate this rule, I really do, however due to power and space concerns, I am asking everyone to use headphones. Don’t worry…We will have at least one spectating system with speakers to provide atmosphere.
• No Alcoholic beverages, or illegal substances or activities.

What to bring:

1. Your PC
   1. All CDs that you may need to start any games you plan to play.
   2. All power cables
   3. A 25 foot Network Cable
   4. Mouse pad
   5. Headphones
2. Money for food
3. Or Chips, snacks, or soda for yourself or to share if you want.
